- I've been in IT for practically my whole adult life, now going-on twenty years. I really work hard to identify with the industry I serve, moving beyond simply being an IT professional. I've worked in consulting for 11 years, corrections for over 5, and now I'm in the Credit Union industry. In my opinion, IT professionals really excel and add value to the organization when they begin to truly understand the "business of the business."
